For Brent crude oil, it too settled marginally lower. For the day, it fell $.07 or 0.10% at $69.31. The high for the day reached $69.63. The low extended to $68.80.
Crude oil inventories showed a greater than expected drawdown of -6861K vs -3150K, but the private API steered the market expectations "that way". They showed a drawdown of -5121K at the end of trading yesterday.
