Weekend geo bunfight - Merkel might join Macron at Davos for Trump clash

French President Emmanuel Macron will be at the World Economic Forum in Davos, along with U.S. President Donald Trump

The news about is German Chancellor Angela Merkel is considering attending also

Reports at the end of last week saying it looks like Merkel has secured a German government:

• German Social Democratic (SPD) "grand coalition" with Chancellor Angela Merkel's conservatives for another four years

Dunno if that is a final done deal yet, but anyway if Merkel is confident she may very well head off to Davos. Where she'd be joining with French ally Macron for the "M&M vs. Trump" showdown.
