Be on alert for emails from Futex Live
Just a warning for anyone who knows Futex Live.
Futex Global are a prop firm in London. Last week there were rumours that that trading had been stopped after a trader took out an injunction on the firm. From what I have heard, speaking to various contacts in the City, things aren't looking pretty.
I happen to be on the email list for Futex Live, who run training courses, and just now I received an email offering 60% off their June 6th course as part of a 72 hour flash sale. As you can imagine, the warning bells went right off.
Under no circumstances do I suggest that there is any wrong doing going on. Futex Live may be completely free of any legal issues that the prop firm is under and running as normal, although my attempts to contact them for clarification have drawn a blank so far.
This is merely a warning to anyone that may be contacted via email or other avenues, to check out the lay of the land before handing over any money.
