Blame Icahn
Carl Icahn's exiting out of Apple has the stock market sliding to/toward new day lows. Apple is tradiing down $2.26 on the day.
The Nasdaq is trading at new session lows (down -0.33%). The S&P is still off the lows at 2086.09 (trades at 2088.60 down -0.30% currently).
The Dow is trading down -0.66%. Amazon earnings after the cloe.
The dollar is also sliding a bit.
The EURUSD is trading back at 1.1350 which is the highest level since 8:30 AM ET. The USDJPY- which was hurt on the back of the BOJ not easing overnight, is back near the 108.00 level. The low for the day bottomed at 107.907.
