Congress and Fed at odds
Reuters is reporting that the Government Accountability Office has been directed by Democratic lawmakers to investigate lax bank oversight at the Fed and other bank regulators. They are particularly focused on the New York Fed.
Some members of Congress have been miffed by Yellen's refusal to reveal disclosures related to the leaks to Medley.
