Theresa May to take over as Prime Minister Wednesday evening
- Says he's 'delighted' May will be the next Prime Minister

Cameron had initially set the timetable for stepping down in September but after all the other candidates dropped out, May is now the presumptive nominee.
Rather than dragging the process out, he's now decided to quit early and May will take over on Wednesday evening.
I'm speculating here but it looks like there may have been a deal for Leadsom to step down in exchange for Cameron quitting early.
The pound jumped 30 pips on the headline.
