Trump signed executive order to freeze Federal hiring
Trump today signed an executive order that will implement a hiring freeze for many jobs in the federal government. One area that's exempted is the military along with anything security-related.
John Hussman points out that Federal hiring added 42K and 41K jobs in the last two months of data available.
The freeze won't really hit until the February report, which will be released on the first Friday of March.
