It's early but it's not looking good

The euro hit stops as it rose to the highest levels of 2017 in early-market trading. It's very thin out there but the dollar is weak across the board.

The euro and yen have both gained 50 pips against the dollar.

On Friday, the market was keeping an open mind after the failure of healthcare reform but after some weekend infighting -- especially with Trump putting some of the blame of Republicans -- the market is beginning to worry about the Republican agenda.

The early thinking was that they could easily move on to tax reform but three have been repeated warnings that changes will be equally-difficult to implement.
