Headlines crossing that appear to be from Iran's PressTV, which is citing Yemen's Al-Masirah TV

If Yemen is attacking Saudi Arabia successfully, we could be quickly talking about a big jump in oil.

So far sources are scattered and unreliable at best but oil is up 2%.

In the past, there have been missiles from Yemen fired at Saudi Arabia but they've been shot down or failed to hit anything significantly.

Update:

Supposedly a Saudi oil facility in the southern city of Jizan was hit.

Aramco says this about a Saudi facility under construction in Jizan:

"Construction of the refinery and terminal started in 2014. When completed in late 2016, the refinery will have the capacity to process 400,000 bpd of Arabian Heavy and Arabian Medium crude oil, as well as producing 80,000 bpd of gasoline, 250,000 bpd of ultra-low sulfur diesel and over 1 million tons per year of benzene and paraxylene products."

So it may be a project that's under construction, not in production so the risks of a supply disruption are low.

Update 2:

Here's the report in PressTV

"The retaliatory attack took place on Friday, hitting targets in Saudi Arabia's Jizan region and causing considerable damage to the Aramco facilities there, Yemen's al-Masirah television reported."

Update 3: It's important to note that Al-Masirah TV is backed by the Houthi Youth movement so it's not exactly an impartial source.
