Earlier we got the ANZ Truckometer, which is a heads up indication of where GDP is going over the next 6 months .... and it came in strong today: NZ data - ANZ Truckometer for December: +2.6% m/m (prior was +0.4%)

Its not all over for the NZ economy - while dairy prices are softish, other sectors of the economy are not in such a bad shape.
