Well, we're seeing more of the same this morning after weekend press reports of the banking giant spinning off its UK business into a separate division while moving it's main operations to Asia
The retail business would revert to the old name of Midland ( yes I am old enough to have banked with them) and be based in Birmingham
HSBC officials have today denied the reports but hey, no smoke without fire
