Plenty of below expected results in the inflation data. Kuroda is in Jackson Hole for the symposium this weekend. What's the bet he just quietly disappears after the conference never to be seen again - goes and lives in a back woods cabin somewhere?

A disappointing set of results for the BOJ and the Japanese administration. The Bank of Japan is doing a big 'assessment' of policy for their September meeting (20th and 21st). What's taken them so long?
