Reuters highlighting comments from an interview with the Greek labour minister

  • Says Athens will tell investors that it cannot meet the of the IMF's demands for labour reform

  • IMF is an extreme player in bailout talks on labour reforms

The argument seems to stem around collective bargaining, which the IMF have said is detrimental to their call that the Greek labour market becomes more flexible. The labour minister, Katrougalos says that collective bargaining "should be reinstated as it is at the core of the European social model".

I wonder if his wages would be improved under such a reinstatement? ;-)
