Up 16% vs 12% estimate
The GM auto sales are now out and they too are showing a beat of the estimate. Sales showed a 16% increase. The estimate was for a 12% increase.
Of those releasing so far, only Ford came in weaker than expectations. The total sales are expected to come in at 17.7 annualized pace. This is down from the 18.07 pace seen in September but still at lofty levels.
