GBP/JPY jumps in early Tokyo

USD/JPY and GBP/USD both higher

Stop loss buyers jamming GBP higher in thin market conditions. Cable and GBP crosses both.

For noobs to the forex market, the period between NY close and Tokyo open is the thinnest liquidity time of the 24 hour FX trading cycle. Most of the time action dries up ... but when it doesn't, look out for sharp moves.
