Is going to be the speech from BOJ board member Takahide Kiuchi that will be the focus from Japan today.
Kiuchi has been a persistent dissenter at board meetings, maintaining his objection to the extra easing introduced last October. I don't expect him to cave today ... so watch for 'hawkish' statements (OK, 'hawkish' is probably an overstatement .... just not as dovish as other BOJ board members, K?)
"No."
- Kiuichi gives his speech at 10.30 local time, which is 0130GMT. I don't have a title for his speech, just that he is speaking to business leaders in Aomori
- He follows up with a press conference at 0530GMT
