In a weekend German newspaper, the ECB’s Jens Weidmann discussed the ongoing sovereign debt crisis in Europe:
- “The causes haven’t been removed,”
- he also warned on ‘crisis fatigue”: “if political leaders decided they don’t want to have anything to do with the crisis anymore and expect the central bank to save the day”.
