AUD, CAD and NZD all strong

The US dollar is under increasing pressure from the commodity bloc.

AUD/USD is pressing up against some heavy offers and resistance in the 0.7250 zone. The high so far is 0.7245.

The commodity currencies are benefitting from gains in oil and metals. Oil Copper is up 2.65%, gold is up 0.8%.

The economic calendar is light in Canada, Australian and New Zealand in the day ahead except for a speech today from the BOC's Patterson at 22:20 GMT. On Wednesday it picks up with NZ trade balance and Australian Q3 capex numbers and a speech from the RBA's Debelle.
