Warren Buffett singled out PIMCO ‘bond king’ Bill Gross at the at the Berkshire Hathaway shareholder meeting.

“It doesn’t make any difference to me what he thinks about the future,” Buffett said about Gross on the weekend.

Buffett framed the comment as statement about the US economy — saying he is optimistic about future US growth and not concerned about Gross’ New Normal.

But you have to wonder if he was a prickly because of Gross’ comments in April when he questioned the greatness of “investing’s most esteemed ‘oracle’ Warren Buffett” because his returns came in an era of extended returns for risk assets.
