Barnier says EU needs "special vigilance on financial stability risk" post-Brexit

EU's chief Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier tweeting this morning 14 Jan

Barnier was responding to the UK's Guardian newspaper report that he had told EU lawmakers he wanted a special deal to maintain EU firms access to the City of London's financial markets.

"When asked on equivalence I said: EU would need special vigilance on financial stability risk, not special deal to access the City"
