Crude oil settles the week at $74.34

Crude oil settled the day up a skinny penny at $74.34. Last Friday, the contract closed at at $73.47. So the contract was up $0.87.

The low for the week was on Monday at $72.95. The high reached $76.90.

Technically, the contract is settling between the 100 hour MA above at $75.26 and the 200 hour MA below at $73.86. The trading today stalled at each of those MAs extremes (blue and green lines). Next week, traders will be looking for a break outside those levels.
