OPEC wants a tighter oil market

The gift to shale producers just keeps on giving.

OPEC and non-OPEC partners are unlikely to change the supply cut deal in June, according to three OPEC sources cited by Reuters. They won't even raise caps if inventory targets are met.

On prices, they say the Saudis favor $80 oil, or even $100 oil.

None of this is exactly breaking news. It's long been expected that the quotas would continue through June and Saudi Arabia naturally wants higher prices.

Friday's high of $67.76 is a level to watch.
