S$P up 1.01%. Nasdaq soars by 1.47%

The US major stock indices are ending the day with strong gains. The S&P is up by 1.01%, while the Nasdaq surged by 1.47% led by Apple which surged by another $3.70 (3.4% gain) on the back of the iPhone 7 being sold out. The Dow advanced by 0.99%

In the US debt market, the yield curve continued to steepen with the:

  • 5 year yield 1.1836%, -2 BP
  • 10 year yield 1.6977%, Unchanged
  • 30 year yield 2.4688%, +2 BP

Crude oil futures are trading at $43.82, +0.55%

Gold is trading at $1313 down -0.70%
