UK PM David Cameron speaking on BBC tv a short while ago

He told the Andrew Marr Show he didn't think "quitting was the right answer" but if the UK voted to leave then the govt would:

"do everything necessary to make it work"

He also said he was hopeful of a deal on the EU reforms he's after by February . On Friday though I posted about an article in The Guardian newspaper that outlined its reasons why a referendum is unlikely to be held before September and I warned that the on-going uncertainty would continue to undermine the pound. Something we clearly seen prior and since with further notable declines on Friday

Cameron says he won't quit but he may well be forced to in any case. He's already stated he will not see out a full term this time around and a No vote may just bring that about earlier than planned.

The likelihood of a No vote is increasing with chances of any notable reforms waning, and since Cameron was pressured by his own MPs and others to allow a free vote

I highlighted in my 2016 forecast the shadow of Brexit looming over GBP this year and with only 10 days gone we're already seeing the impact.
