Speaks in TG3 interview

Italy's Economic Minister Padoan in an interview with TG3 says:

  • Will see if additional measures for Italy are needed
  • Govt has taken important measures to address the banking woes
  • 20B euros is more than sufficient to support Italy's banks
  • Govt to continue with low taxes and structural reforms

The IMF cut the GDP estimates for Italy in 2017 and 2018 to 0.7% and 0.8% from 0.9% and 1.1% previously.
