Trade balance for the month of July
Imports rise by 1.7% on energy. Imports increased to 46.05 B from 45.26 B
Exports also increase by 1%. Exports in total rose to 45.46B from 44.45B in June.
Exports of vehicles imports increased 9.9%
the prior month was revised to -811 million from -476 million.
The initial reaction was to the downside in the USDCAD but the pair is back to where it began.
