Better technology, more features, same independence

We're so happy to announce today that we've partnered up with Finance Magnates. This is something that's been in the works for months and it's great to finally be able to share the news.

For us, this is an opportunity to focus on what we do best -- analysing the foreign exchange market. For the past few years we have spent so much of our time and energy on business development and technology.

We're proud of the headway we made but we're not web developers or online business experts; we're currency analysts. That's what we want to do and that's why we partnered up with someone who knows the industry better than anyone -- Finance Magnates.

They are the #1 site for industry news. Michael Greenberg is the CEO and he knows everyone in foreign exchange and his people are experts in technology. I can tell you that we have big plans for development that are going to make the site faster, cleaner and far more accessible.

What isn't going to change is the content. There are no plans to put any content behind a paywall or anything like that. Now what happens in the market and why will be the sole focus for Greg, Ryan, Mike, Eamonn and I (we're not going anywhere). At the same they're going to develop technology to make it more readable and graphical, and with accessible background information. We're also going to expand and organize our education, tools and build amazing new features.

The key for us was partnering up with someone who is independent. We had opportunities to join a broker but it wasn't something we wanted to do. Finance Magnates has always been under tremendous pressure from brokers to bury bad news and write nice things but they are fiercely independent and that's why they're so trusted. We respect that so much.

To us, that kind of independence is critical for good analysis and it's what's going to help make ForexLive better, faster and more insightful than ever.
