CAD the strongest. CHF still weakest (thanks to CAD and AUD rises)

As London traders exit for the day, the markets are mixing around.

One theme is the CAD is much stronger.

The loonie has benefited from stronger retail sales and CPI data. The USDCAD is trading at the lowest level of the day (higher CAD). In fact all the CAD currencies are trading at extremes (higher CAD). The USDCAD, EURCAD, GBPCAD, CADJPY, CADCHF are all showing a 1% change.

The AUD is also being dragged higher. It is higher vs all currencies with the exception of the CAD.

Technically, the price moved above a topside trend line and raced higher. In the process, the pair has moved above the 200 day MA at 0.76908 (see overlay MA on the hourly chart below). That 200 day MA is now close risk.

The USD is little changed vs most shares with the exception of the CAD, AUD and CHF (which remains the weakest currency of the day).
