And another item has just occurred to me that may of interest if you are new to markets.

Earlier I posted on: Japanese markets are closed for Respect for the Aged Day holiday.

And yet, now I'm posting on Japanese government bond futures open for trade

Yes, it's a holiday in Japan, but note that an important centre from trading JGBs (Japanese Government Bonds) is the Singapore Exchange, and Singapore is open for business as normal today.
