No kidding....

The WSJ Jon Hilsenrath in his recent article says the fed is almost certain to keep interest rates unchanged at the next meeting. The comments that this will likely focus on when next to raise rates at the January 26/27 meeting.

Job growth remain strong the financial markets are volatile and downward pressure on inflation or building. He adds officials are likely to wait to see several new rounds of economic and market data before deciding what they might do in March.

Yesterday, James Bullard - a voting member and 2016 - commented that the Fed is not thinking about a January move.

The current probability puts a March cut at 35%.
