Housing is the theme, a steady stream of Fedspeak too

It's not a huge week on the US economic calendar but there are a few highlights to watch out for.

Later today:

Fed Vice Chairman Fischer speaks at 2100 GMT (6 pm ET) at Columbia University.

Tuesday

Housing starts is up first with industrial production also on the docket. The Fed's George speaks

Wednesday

The Fed's Beige Book is due in the US afternoon but a couple hours before, the Fed's Rosengren will speak.

Thursday

Weekly initial jobless claims are complimented by the Philly Fed and a speech from the Fed's Powell.

Friday

The week closes out with the Markit manufacturing and services PMIs along with existing home sales. And what would a week be with no Kashkari? He's back at it again with an appearance in Minnesota.
