Following on from the DailyFX $40m sale news, we want to hear what sites are important to your trading

The $40m sale of DailyFX is quite staggering. They are a big site but not one I've tended to look at often as there's nothing there that really grasps my interest. There's also many other sites, portals and places to go for your FX fix of news, analysis and tools.

Hopefully ForexLive ranks highly in your list of favs but what other sites do you regularly use, and for what purpose do you use them? Do you use them just for news, analysis, education, trading tools, community? Give us a top 5 in the comments below.

If I had to pick 5 they would be;

  1. ForexLive - I first found the site as a reader back in 2010 and was hooked immediately

  2. Netdania - Free web based chart package. I couldn't function without it

  3. Livesquawk - Particularly for this job, having access to fast news is a god send

  4. Twitter - Has fast become one of the best and fastest ways to get news

  5. eFX - We're lucky to have access to their + service and I like to keep an eye on the banks and what they are doing and thinking

All the above are important to me everyday. I could probably write a huge list and picking only five, I'm doing a disservice to the likes of Forex Crunch, Finance Magnates, Forex Factory, Trade2win and a few other sites and individuals.

Building the right tools to help you in your trading is important, so what are yours?
