Here's more from the PR dept in Threadneedle Street

"On Friday 14 October 2016, the Bank of England will host Future Forum. This event will bring together people from different sectors of the community to discuss our role in promoting the good of the people of the United Kingdom in times of uncertainty.

The Bank's Governors will spend the morning visiting locations across the Midlands, listening to the views and concerns of local business leaders, technology developers, representatives from the voluntary and education sectors, and the wider public.

The Governors will then join together for an afternoon session held at Birmingham Town Hall, where they will discuss what they have heard and consider actions for the Bank to take forward. The ballot for free tickets to attend the afternoon session has now closed. All those who were successful in the ballot have been notified.

If you have any questions please contact futureforum@bankofengland.co.uk.

You can still help shape how we serve society and maintain stability in times of change, even if you are unable to join us in Birmingham. A live webcast will be available from 14:30 BST on the day, and you can Tweet your questions and views using#FutureForumBoE."
