S&P down -1.24%

The S&P index fell about -1.24% on the day to 1829.03. The index fell to the lowest level in year falling to 1810.10 before rebounding on a WSJ report that OPEC might look to trim production. Even so the rally off the low has been limited.

The Nasdaq index was more supported in trading today but it too ending in the red. The index fell by -0.39%.

The Dow which was down about -400 points at the low ended the day down about -254 points or -1.60%
