Two agents stole Bitcoin during investigation of silk road.
Former Federal agents who were undercover in an investigation of black market website Silk Road allegedly stole Bitcoin. The Justice Dept announced today that Carl Force of the DEA and Shaun Bridges of the Secret Service, both based in Baltimore, have been charged with wire fraud and Bitcoin money laundering.
Baltimore eh?
Update: The Secret Service agent allegedly diverted $800,000 in Bitcoin into his account over the course of the investigation.
