Clinton will reported announce her pick today
Tim Kaine was a finalist to be Obama's running mate but he later selected Joe Biden. Betting sites have him at 1/10 or 1/25 to take the nod with the rest of field led by Tom Vilsack at 13/2.
The announcement will reportedly made by Clinton via text message to her supporters.
Kaine was born in Minnesota, studied law at Harvard, was the mayor of Richond, Virginia then the governor of Virginia. He's currently a Virginia Senator. So he's served at pretty much every level of government except the White House.
