Trump and May will discuss post-Brexit trade deal

Theresa May will be the first world leader to meet with Donald Trump as they lay the groundwork for a post-Brexit trade deal. They will also discuss NATO, according to reports.

The meeting will take place at the White House on Friday.

Trump advisers Steve Bannon and Jared Kushner met with U.K. Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson in New York on Jan. 8 and intelligence counterparts have met.

Prior to the Brexit vote, Obama had told Britons they would go to the "back of the queue" on US trade deals if they voted to leave. Evidently not.
