Merkel apparently tells German politicians that Germany cannot consult on a new Greek proposal before the Greek referendum

Merkel has been holding one of the many doors open to Greece but Reuters report a source saying that German policy makers won't go over any new deals until after the referendum, which will be after tonight's bailout expiry

While it's officially down to the Troika to agree any deal, before it passes through to member state parliaments, Merkel is possibly closing that door for now and making it tough for Tsipras to slow the clock down
