Hospital treating shooting victims, there may be hostages in Colorado Springs

Initial reports said the shooting was at a Planned Parenthood clinic but a separate report says there was no connection to the abortion clinic and the attack.

Reuters is carrying comments from the President of Planned Parent for the Rocky mountains and he says "our concern is for the safety of our patients, staff and law enforcement."

At least three police officers were wounded along with multiple bystanders.

The latest report from police spokesmen is that they do not know if the shooter is 'contained' and asked if there are hostages said "there is that possibility."

The Colorado Springs police confirms the shooter is still active and officers are encountering gunfire.
