Scotland's First Minister Nicola Strurgeon out on Reuters 11 May 2016

Meanwhile fellow Scot and ex fin min/PM Gordon Brown has been speaking at the London School of Economics on a whole range of matters including staying in the EU, claiming it's

"not British to retreat to Europe's sidelines".

and argued that Britain needed to be in the EU to shape the continent's responses to terrorism, immigration and climate change adding it was:

"not in tune with the Churchillian spirit" to "disengage"

Lest we forget that this is a UK not just English matter but Brown's dismal record in office isn't exactly going to win him a legion of followers on this one.
