Saudi Arabia on board for new quotas
Saudi Arabia is basically a dictator within OPEC. If they want something it will happen. It might just be window dressing but the oil market doesn't need much good news to jump lately.
The WSJ has a short profile on the new Saudi oil minister. He's been keeping a low profile so far.
A senior OPEC official said Mr. Falih hasn't given extensive remarks, as Mr. Naimi did, because he "needs to get to know OPEC, meet other ministers and talk to everyone first."
"OPEC for Falih is important as it was for Naimi," the senior official said. "It is just every minister has a different style."
