Russia says there was no discussion of oil production cuts at OPEC meeting

'Technical' meeting took place today

Delegates from OPEC and from Russia both told Reuters there was no discussion about oil production cuts at today's meeting.

That's not a surprise given that it was billed as a 'technical' meeting that included non-members like Mexico and Russia. The next proper OPEC summit is scheduled for December.
