Confirmation of new BOE bill approves reducing MPC meeting to 8 a year
Meeting will be reduced to 8 from 12
BOE will now be under the purview of the National Audit Office value for money studies
Carney says that the legislation will ensure the bank can operate more effectively
I can't remember when the 8 meeting rule will kick in ;-) (I'd better put a wink in in case people think I'm being serious).
