Terrorism ahead of French election
At least two attackers were involved in the murder of a Paris police officer and the wounding of another, police say. The incident took place on the Champs Elysees.
One of the attackers was killed.
That will add some tensions in the French vote.
Update: Three RTRS police sources say French shooting could have been an attempted armed robbery. Meanwhile, an eyewitness also cited by RTRS said a man got out of a car with an AK-47 and began shooting, which doesn't exactly sound like the best plan for a robbery.
