Bloomberg reporting news from the Australian Financial Review 5 May 2016
The Australiian Treasurer Scott Morrison has named Lowe, currently dep gov, as the next RBA governor to replace the retiring Stevens when he steps down in September after 10 years in the post.
RBA board member John Edwards will be replaced by Ian Harper. A new dep gov will be announced in H2 2016.
Lowe's appointment comes with a 7-year term so what do our Aussie readers make of it?
