Reuters speaks to OPEC sources

OPEC's Friday meeting will be tough as nations wrangle over production amid low prices.

"It will be tough," one source was quoted as saying.

A second source said he expected more downward pressure on oil if the Fed hikes rates in December, as the US dollar climbs. He warned prices could fall as low as $35 per barrel.

There is also some controversy over OPEC forecasts. They foresee demand rising 1.25 million barrels per day next year but five members have questioned that forecast. They thing demand will climb just 1 million barrels per day.

WTI crude fell yesterday after a survey showed rising output from Saudi Arabia. This story is weighing on crude as it slips to $41.33.
