Scientists claim to perform first head transplant on monkey

The path to the fountain of youth may be one step closer after a team of international neuroscientists said they performed the first successful head transplant on a monkey. They say the first human head transplant could happen in about two years.

On of the issues will be to fuse and re-fuse the spinal cord but it could be possible if it's cut in a bath of polyethylene glycol, which preserves nerve cells.

There is some skepticism about whether the claims are true but it's certainly another reason to try and become very rich, because those are the only people who are ever going to be able to afford it.
