How currencies performed this week
The US dollar, British pound and Australian dollar finished in a virtual dead heat this week at the top of the currency chart.
Down near the bottom was the euro because of worries about French populism and Merkel's loosening grasp. The laggard was the kiwi after the RBNZ didn't offer the kind of hawkish talk the market was looking for.
