Belated building permit data from Canada
- Prior +14.5%. Prior revised to +15.5%
Here's how wonky Canada is. Only they can give us permits data for one month after giving us starts data for the following month
Anyway, residential permits rose 8.7% vs 16.7% prior (I bet we see a jump in August housing starts ;-) ). Non-residential fell 13.9% vs +13.8% prior
What does it all mean? I'm blowed if I know, ask Adam ;-)
