Reuters news just reporting from 2 sources "familiar with the situation"

  • Iran will not attend tomorrow's meeting between OPEC and non-OPEC member countries in Doha,Qatar

The "will they/won't they attend" question now seems settled. Iran's oil minister had not been listed to attend but they were due to send a representative.

No great surprises and Iran have already said they will not agree to a freeze until it gets its output and market share up to pre-sanctions levels.

Earlier today Reuters also reported Iran's deputy oil minister saying:

  • crude oil exports will increase to 2m bpd in coming month
  • gas condensate exports will increase by 10% in coming month
  • oil production has already surpassed 3.5m bpd

Time for me to head out on a 3 hour drive to football. Have a good week-end everyone and thanks again for your support and brilliant input.
